We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves

Imperfection! Is it inevitable?

In hard ruled world of perfection imperfections are most abhorred things. No one wants to be dragged down in life.

The persistency of hard work shows in the fructified efforts of well oiled house. The double incomes status, the impressive address of high end luxurious destination, the home where children are heading to reputed institution. An impressive and gratifying way to live life!

But imperfections are still there as no one has a minute to spare for things other than career and nuclear set up family.

As a result family precedence such as grandparents, a place for relaxation and love often missed in hard paced lives. Hard pressed routine neither leaves time for relatives, neighbors nor for relaxed moments.

Usually preparation of the empowered life has been started long ago in many a life.Devoted to ambition and success, the nuclear set up of family hardly provides time for simple happiness of life.Time constraints life style leave little time for mingling. Further forced with accumulated stress of commitments, then they view mingling with people and catering their moods as unnecessary botheration. At a point fed up with these botheration in daily life a person decides not to waste further energy on people around. Channelizing energy on work in hand seems to work miraculously for the time being. But ultimately it results in world of –I, my and me- my job , my money, my status- flashing the virtual hoarding of all time “trespassers are prohibited.”

But world is a bit different, it does not constitute of “mine”. In free flowing reservoir of universe the energy flows uniformly. And in our lives we receive them from all ten directions-happiness from progeny, ancestors, career health and so on…all ten directions are equally important to obtain the everlasting bliss or happiness in our lives. But sometimes unknowing and lack of awareness blocks the receiving from some of the directions, then sufferings manifest in those zones of life.

Sometime the wall of “ego” which many of us erect around us as a safety measures, hurdles the receiving.Eventually the blockades manifest in life as lack of love or heart and blood related problems, loneliness, insomnia etc.

In practical life we feel difficulty in handling day to day problems or tending bad and old health of parents and neighbors. We find their behavior nagging. Their open dissatisfaction and lack of appreciation of our efforts seem taxing to us. Still the appreciations are there in comfort of their body cells though it comes as silence. The silent appreciation of their comforting body cells get their invocation in the universe and it l comes to us as good karma.

The universe is a perfect system where none of our actions go unnoticed. But only it is bit different. In perfect accounting system of universe sometimes the source, investment and return are not same. We invest somewhere and get its return from unexpected source. But return of energy is always there that we have invested at the cost of being imperfect.ARE NOT FEASIBLITIES OF SOME IMPERFECTIONS INEVITABLE?

ALL FOR THAT ELUSIVE LOVE

EVERY THING IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR. There isn't any  surprise that to win  love war is fought. History and civilization are witnessed of it. Hence ample legends and folklores are here to amuse us with heroic battles of love.

But history is after all history, isn’t it? But what about those incidents which we often sight as repeats of history.A common sight to see couple who wage wars to claim love. Aren't the rising graph of divorce cases are the results of disillusioned love? In which the partners naively claim and ask for more love and soon get disillusioned with the non-compliance.

Eventually it turned out  that if there isn't any love in life there won’t be any disappointment.

“I love you more than anyone else” assertion between spouses is perennial proclamation in which no one is ready to duck.
Once one of my acquaintances with grown up children, furiously disclosed,“My husband even after decades of marriage does not listen me. But anything which would come from his mother and siblings  he listens and acts with exaltation as a word of Bible.” With teary eyes she sobbed,“After 20 year of marriage still in his life his family is more important than me”.

Her innocent complain about her husband filled me with amusing happiness. A palpable strong family bond and a true seeking of love was floating in her complain. Aren't fed with these traditional values we survived for civilization?Revering her longing and i tried to show her reason, “If he doesn't value you how come, everyday he comes to drop you at work place. Don’t feel bad he loves you passionately”. My reasoning didn't satiate her at that aggrieved moment.

But this tug of war is common sight and noise of Indian marriage which usually passes from mother to daughter but the seeking of love in life never vanishes.

So honestly i am not an exception. Every now and then the mortal feeling seems to loom larger on me. Once rather feeling insecure about my position i decided to take furtive action and nip the problem at the bed than wait and watch for the right moment to dawn.

As a forever foresighted person I believe in taking care of syndrome rather than wait for full grown ailment. And to handle my case dexterously and I have taken action before hand. And it is here as free advice to everyone else.

AT HOME I MADE SOME RULES FOR MY HUBBY DEAR. When I suggest him something.Right after completion i mention him what is being expected to him, next as a reaction? “After listening me you are expected to nod in affirmation with comments or you can say, “I fully agree with you.” And after that there is no restriction for using positive adjectives for me as compliments.

But my enlightened hubby never gives any ear to these trivial. At home he is solely interested in clean cloth, homely meal, good bath and sleep. So like an enlightened one he never wastes his time in arguments.

Amidst all well documented and represented arguments of mine, he looks at me like an innocent pre-school child while having his meal occasionally asking for more dal or water- chewing mouthful of food.

He opinionated “I know the levels of wife –“You can get angry but you shall never ….”and then his believes and faiths block all arguments and I realize futility of it. After all in this short life when there is less time for love where is the place for argument. Love and live life to its fullest.

Life is love... Live it with love!

The Alliance of Souls

Our mutual glances, be they sweet
Our faces may they show our concord
Take me within thy heart and let
One spirit- dwells in both of us.
—Atharva Veda

Marriage is a duty performed in mutual cooperation for spiritual advancement.
—Srimad Bhagavatam

Marriage is  pivot of life.It ensures lifelong companionship to gregarious human beings as well as mental and emotional support in every phase of life.

The vows taken by the individuals during marriage are-
“To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us apart.”
—Book of Common Prayer.

It is a reunion meant to support two individuals throughout of their lives. It is a wisdom oriented device of nature to sustain the species on the planet. For that it equipped the spouses with hormones induced attraction.

But more often the purpose of the institution seems to fail. What does the rising graph of matrimonial discord point? On the broad level the cited reason is incompatibility. Even in the cases where the vows were taken after the courtship of enough time. And it had cleared the all compatibility test of love and attunement earlier.

Still it fails to evolve with time and stagnancy crept inside the alliance.Eventually it chokes and lastly saps the vitality out of the relationship.

In the universe everything first works on the mental and energy level then the gross form shapes.Every acclaimed action of the universe manifests first in thoughts then it breathes to life. MARRIEGE MUST BE ALLOWED TO GROW WITH TIME AS THE STAGNANCY SAPS VITALITY OUT OF IT.

When the person never gives a thought to grow beyond the triviality of lower level of energy and thoughts and they only hanker after gross things,a time comes when the full grown effect of uncontrolled desires engulf the life.

How does it affect the couple on the physical level?
Let have a glance to Vedic wisdom or our ancient Aurveda healing system describes the body.

Root Chakra-the Mooladhar Chakra- the physical chakra which imparts strength and sustenance when healed. Situated at the base of the spine it is the seat of the desires. When unhealed it shows the unsatiating craving for worldly possessions and wealth.

The relationship of spouses who possess uncontrolled desires get stuck only in worldly possession and wealth. The means and happiness of relationship they draw satiating their worldly possessions by showcasing the clothes, jewels and stuffs. The desires are endless so they are bound to be unfulfilled after a point of time. And when the very purpose does not get fulfilled it questions the stability of relationship.

Hara Chakra-the Swadisthan Chakra –or the emotional chakra- when union of the two individual occurs at the level of this chakra empathy gets created between the two. It is often taken as bonding and love.

When the Hara Chakra of partners is not healed they show emotional insecurities in the relationships. Out of insecurities they try to control one another and eventually the relationship wilts.

Solar plexus- the chakra of power and wisdom- in healed condition the person exhibit strong will power.

The union between partners of strong will power shows a selfless attitude in relationships. And the marriage would be based on strong will of selfless love.

The heart chakra- also known as chakra of love- a chakra when healed it opens entrance of gratitude. The heart chakra gets healed only when both upper and lower chakra are balanced and healed.

Gratitude opens opulence in the life- when the individual leaves ‘ego’. The ego binds the person with false perception and it checks growth and love in life.

In marriage when the partners starts the life without any expectation. They respect and give space to each other and do not force another to conform. The union blossoms in selfless love. This kind of couple show undying love for one another. They turn into the picture of Ardhnareswer . The lives of such couples are so much tuned- thus in their life success, growth and prosperity make permanent realization.

Throat chakra- controls metabolism in body when the chakra is healed – it imparts truthfulness, strength and good values and better physical capacity which is counted as good working capability.

When the union between two individual exists at this level both of them give best to their lives. The relationship gets based on truthfulness. The strong mental and physical level imparts great character and strong personality to them. And strong mental and physical strength give the power to create health, wealth and long lasting bliss in life.

“You were born together, and together you shall be forever more.
You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days.
You shall be together even in the silent memory of God.
But let there be spaces in your togetherness, and let the winds of the heavens dance between you.”
—Khalil Gibran.

Do not look up above in the sky and ask persistently to God for the heaven- create it here on the earth. Life is the canvas of our lives provided by the almighty where we have to paint our hell or heaven.

Love and relationship

Osho says, “Love is not mere an emotion , love is an expression of your whole being.” So it cannot be an overwhelming fleeting and when it passes leaving behind you an empty, shattered in sadness and in sorrow.”

Isn’t love the most precious of all emotions? Love gives wholeness and liberation of whole being. In love the world seems beautiful. Still maintaining the precious feel (love) is like walking the tightrope. At the best display like trapeze artistes love too keeps everyone in the crowd spellbound with their mesmerizing charm like trapeze artistes who keep spectators spellbound with their death defying leaps and acrobatics. So often, gaping a well maintained relationship leaves one open mouth as if one is watching the gravity defying tricks.

In love the care should be taken and the grip shouldn’t be stifling one otherwise it will block the growth of another partner. At the same time tightness (bonding) should be enough to maintain the affinity. A tight grip becomes an exercise of control, stifling the growth in the relationship and a tool for emotional blackmail.

Love is not like owning someone; on the contrary it is the liberation. When someone loves, he or she allows the other to acquire more autonomy through this love.

Love is always mistaken by most of us as overwhelming emotions. Flowing in an emotion ,overwhelms one and blurs the vision .The person loses clarity. As a result whatever comes in the name of overwhelming love comes out as wrong. Losing in emotion is like walking in black cloud, in which one gets lost.

Love is a blissful emotion. Love flow through us in balanced state of our being. Therefore in love we gain tremendous insight, clarity, sensitivity, awareness. To acquire the power of love a patient investment of commitment is required to achieve it. Therefore very few people realizes this true realization of life, others simply chase the boundary instead of map.

To create true love in life it has to be taken out from the emotional grip, the false teaching we received since our birth, and we have to find a route of it, which fortunately passes through us. Unless the love becomes perennial part of our being, it is not much different from pain, suffering and sadness.

Often people claim being in love but reality show them otherwise. As they seem to perennially live in skeptics or insecurities about the relationship either begging or seeking.

Love is a confidence always stems out unconditionally.
There is not any gain and lose in love as it gives the moments to cherish.
Love also gives a means to create something permanent in our lives.

Falling in Love

Love best of emotions….it happened! With all of its tingling and sensation….each time and every time whenever it showered!
I am not a teenager…..nor a twenty plus….but it happened….not once…but in successions...in my life…
The first brush of love i had  “with the best friend of my life... Pa. Yes a  person of another gender…we had great difference not only in age but in length (height) too. Every morning I would peck a soft kiss on his rough face climbing on the bed. That time according to him my pecks had two different tastes -one sweet another sour. That i would shower to him according to my childish humor, to refresh him for the day. Sweet one when he was good to me. Sour one when I wanted to see his mocked face of bad taste.
Next time it spelled on me-when I was twenty something-not exactly looking for it. Destined it showered and drenched me completely again in different way –as first time I saw a straight forwardness in some one, a holistic demeanor, and I got charmed with. Decades passed and many changes came in my role-I turned friend, leading lady of his life, councilor. Isn't a lovely way to rule one’s life?
But best of love came instantaneously, even few days ahead of the forecast by the doctor and experts. Her arrival delighted everyone in the family. Through dizzying weakness I glanced the divinely love in my lap. The pristine tiny-tot was with her cheeky look was taking stock of the world around her in serenity.
At my place, a serene tourist hub with abounded nature, as a lady of the house the first bond of love I generated with a canine.  I truly realized their open reciprocation. The appreciation of truth –“They don’t follow  human for food instead they truly understand love- the unconditional one."
Then at my Institution (my work place)… once after parking the vehicle while I was hurrying towards the portico in drizzle, an umbrella came from nowhere to save me from discomfort of sogginess.
When my gaze met with my savior, for the moment i was startled but soon imbibed the soothing facts of love and humanity. My mind switched to a-day-before-incident when under the stressful moment  i had given him, a hard time for the non-compliance in the study showing my toughest of skin.Their love i often feel when the class of sixty plus maintains pin drop silence only to aid my concentration…during my stay with them.Their love strengthen me.
During one of my occupied moments I had accidentally dropped my car key somewhere and a student ran behind me to produce it whom I had given the stern lesson a day before …his respect firmed my believe in love.
The list is longer. I wish and thank for all the love and loving moments of life to grow unlimited.
Love is divine
Love is unconditional
Love is giving
When you love
Understand it truly
It is not a gain
Nor a carnal pleasure
Know the fine line
Love is truth
love is freedom
Let it grow
Feel it
Give it
And make it eternal
Happy valentine day!
For every one who believes in true love!
Open up
let it come from all sides!

A casual musing

A fleeting muse passed through me while going through the Sunday's Supplement of TOI—about the best inspiring chat of celebrities….
Ritu Beri, the designer had mentioned about the enormous impact of the conversation of hers with legendary Danielle Steele. Ritu Beri with her one year old child mentioned to her about the turmoil of working woman’s motherhood. Danielle Steele answered her,”I have nine children. I wrote books in between feeds, changing diapers and before she knew she was expecting again.” The read not only act as an inspiration of invincible and unfailing level of energy of Danielle but raises a debate about the unfailing source of incessant energy of hers.
Another striking conversation was of Anupam Kher, the actor with a blind man during his low as a struggling actor. He was advised by the blind man to wear bright colors to cheer him up. Really that shows a good example of optimism of blind man talking about the power of colors.
Everyone holds some view of his/her own on the topic and I would like to share it here. When I remember my most memorable one with lasting effect it is happened during one of my meditative session. The talk of mine is happened when I was connecting to real self in my personal space (during meditation) during the moment of low. In the meditative stillness I was accessing or rather witnessing all those moment of low once again. Then like a suggestion it flashed through me. “Why don’t I work for best to correct it? What is resisting inside me to visualize best of it? However it takes a good effort to collect all branched off dissipating energy and channelize back in desired direction yet it is not impossible.
This talk of mine with myself till date I feel the most memorable one. What is your memorable talk?

weird and wonderful

Have you ever faced the people who always  enjoyed being on the other side of the fence? Specially when you need or expect a real nod of his or her while you were dealing with outside world.

But ironically they do  reverse of the expectations. But still it is enticing once one  get the taste of it as one finds it irresistible to leave the game mid way. Once tasted it, it is almost impossible to give up. The magical enticement of being on the other side of the fence and to enjoy is one weird pleasure which my family inherited.

But i faced the challenge since my birth. So with time I started taking pleasure in it. Not only this  i got charmed with him. Now i found the fellow of the other side of the fence so irresistible. To hate him or her is  impossible even I  try. I  ended in  loving him or her more.

Strange, weird, difficult or simply different, whatever they are  named, are here in our lives—the weird and wonderful.

What are they actually? Do we really need a tinge of weirdness in our lives? Well, these genres are actually spices of life. The life gets seasoned with the multifarious ones. It simply acts as the taste booster.

The strangest thing I found about myself is I love weird and wonderful people of my life. I love all critics of my life.

For instance when I got placement,
blinded with sisterly love  I shared the pleasant news to  my sister. In response I found her more serious. She responded in quite quirky way, “So you got the job and now you will teach, --What?” and she nostalgically started reminiscing the bygone era.  How on the report card day she,a topper would decor her academically won medals on my chest wiping my tear flooded eyes not getting any and  consoling me all over, "It is  yours, you take this.It looks really beautiful on you." And completely consoled and satisfied I would stupidly march along her for the home.

And here is another one, despite dissipating my precious energy on my dotting one, my daughter, after a long cajoling and explanation on the health issues and safety.I get straight away her reply—“Mom, we won’t talk on this issue, I don’t want to, sometimes even bolder confession, "Mom, I won’t do as you suggested,” and then already exhausted I ponder," Honesty is good but this is not too much ,even hard to digest." Still the love does neither melt nor my liking to the weird and wonderful.

Here is another instance, the boldest of the list, who always prefered to be on the other side of the fence. When I suggest for a walk he will give excuse of  long hours of his work. His excuse leaves me in  me wonder, reading newspaper and watching TV certainly do not cost any energy. “What an energy booster techniques, only accessible to married man?”

Even on the tours, while shopping, standing beside me he takes side of the shopkeeper. Once taking evening walk with him, the sight of vegetable market enticed me and after much persuasion we entered in the market. The bargain of small boy selling green coriander left me puzzled. So I tried to show him the reason-“How can you charge rupees three for one bunch where as rupees five for two bunches”, while I was midway in my bargaining the hubby dear, with big grin supported the child, “Hey don’t give, she has been doing too much bargain”. Even my angered glance did not stop him taking the side of others. But I am too made up of hard stuff So I assure myself, it's ok if you can not help me in  the bargain, I have another good job for you and that is lifting the vegetables bag.

But the oddest one is the sweetest memoir- when my ailing mother, after calling me demanded that I should visit her urgently, as she was not feeling well. Being aware of her incurable ailment and her failing health my heart sank and my throat choked. Through out  my life i had brought smile on her face with my weird and lovable pranks. That moment also the child in me wanted to see smile on her face and craved for the musical laughter of her. From the other side, on the call I somehow  checked the  heaviness of my voice and  flooded tears.  Somehow I managed to stage my familiar recklessness to her, “No, no I won’t come, you get well on your own. You are very tough person and you nag me enough, I am feeling more safe here”, Accustomed with my familiar weirdness my mother had a heartiest laugh that still echoes in my memory. After a week she left us for the haevenly abode. But still her last chuckle echoes  in my heart, which i reverently recall with her memory. Therefore I feel, if weirdness brings smiles on the face of our people then it is thing to cherish.

Are you listening---?

Full of charm and the cynosure of the lot, I was dazzlingly displayed in a swanky mall. The carefree leisurely souls or the time constrained one, whoever dropped over there everyone halted before me and went in irresistible temptation to own me. Big and small, young and old each of them gazed at me admiringly.

In the harmonious melody in the ritzy ambiance-my heart beat for the beautiful one. My soft suede skin and elegant design had enough appeal to put someone at hold. Some of them got in awe catching glimpse of mine, they nudged one another out of admiration. Soaked in my irresistible admiration some of them hold me lovingly and gave lovely glances. In their sensuous aura I resonated. I enjoyed when I was put in their beautiful arch— still I had been waiting for my special one. As the smartest and debonair in entire lot I deserved the best. So I waited for my charming girl.

And then she came—the pearly dream—the carelessness lyrically inbuilt—the glow and velvety touch intact—along with- a serious, hard packed soul. A virtual tag traditionally floated around the serious soul, “Don’t mess up with me and my daughter” . Imbibing the soothe of the pristine one, I sighed, “The hardness well spent nourishing the pristine one” .

My heart thumped and a harmony blended in the spirit –when the velvety flawless thing picked me up—with the gleam in her eyes she gazed at me. Glancing with besieging glow she put me in her sole. The touch and caress were heart drenching which I had longed. She singled me up and sailed to her mother –to show her pick. My heart pounded, for looming rejection while undergoing the x-ray screening by the serious soul. To get access of the pristine one, I accepted the endurance.

Then I was packed and brought to home and got a nice place to lodge. My upkeep and care were ensured. I was enjoying my company with vibrant one. Then it fell in my ear the holiday was over. I reciprocated the news with a beating heart hoping the mingling and mixing in another excited world. I enjoyed the prospect of persistent proximity with velvety touch and a respite from getting hesitant by the scrutiny of now and then by the hard, tough gaze.

In the campus I skimmed in the proximity of vivacious lot—I walked, I sailed ,I danced and I enjoyed the complete vibrations of pulsating ambiance.

But then I felt that I was missing on something. Amidst all that roller coaster ride of joy there was something basic needed by a sane soul. It made me puzzled, “what is that”?

Then slowly I craved back my clean, gleam look. Though sometime I did crave for a nice clean bath but that was O.K. Every morning that velvety proximity would let me forget all about dos and don’ts.

After long months of wait –now once again I was at home with a hope of clean shine look. The summer advanced in the sweltering heat- my longing for bath still remained unfulfilled.

Now a days—I feel more attached to that stern voice when in suppressed annoyance she would declare-“today you will certainly clean your shoes otherwise I won’t allow it in the closet”.

Ignored and lying at the corner of open space I longed and admired the traffic of my tribe. Who were in their neat and shining self making in and exit of the snugly lodging. I appealed, “Are you listening—?

Who is the boss?

Kinship, I find  sweet and sour by nature yet  it is most tingling spice of life. We have one life then why don’t we make most of it?

Now on practical level the key question in bond ship is bound to arise who keeps authoritarian edge over the other.  Usually relationship is  supposed to be equal but in every relation it is tilted to one side.

But why complain about it? When one has been enjoying it? Most of us are genetically inclined to enjoy bent of kinship's in own favor that is why the rule of equality in the relationships becomes the preferred choice of extinction.

Give attention on any relations for instances spouses, two friends, father-son, mother-daughter or vice versa, one out of two always keeps his or her position elevated, out  of love or convenience.

My husband, a techi when he was in initial years of job often during conversation with his  his colleagues or juniors,he  would be referred as BOSS by them. My daughter,an enquisitive little doll then, was busy in expanding her horizon of vocabulary and learning. Whenever she would hear someone addressing her dad as BOSS she  would get alert. And leaving her engrossment mid way she would pop query to her dad –“Why does uncle call you boss?” And puffed with pleasure my hubby would reply her as I am senior than him.

Whenever she would listen him referring someone  SIR(specially on calls) with equal curiosity she would again confront him. The hubby dear taking full advantage of her cute ignorance would prefer to elevate his junior position. And laughingly answer her," Actually I am the highest boss at the office. Thus when any one calls me BOSS I have to refer him SIR.”

Keeping faith in her father explanation, the cute little soul would chose to go in loving hug of her father, echoing with fun and laughter rather than bothering to reach the truth of the clarification.

But the things started changing with rolling times.Soon she not only gasped the meaning of the words but started weighing the status of the involved persons while they would refer one another.Till then constraint of words and explanation more attention on the matter would bring more confusion in her mind.

One day unable to resist she decided to clerify it with her aunt. She asked her, “Isn’t it true that who is higher at the position should take the decision and frame rules.” Her aunt lovingly helped her –“Yes, definitely, whoever will be at higher position would be allowed to make the decisions.”

Then the littly doll popped her most confusing question-“But how come ,mom frames the rule and makes the decisions at home.”  Then, with confused look she drew nearer to her aunt and with perplexed eyes she added-“Yesterday when mom was annoyed, she was  irrigated....  ---.”

During their meeting oblivious of the topic, I entered in the room  to face her aunt giggling. A baffled expression appeared on her cute  face which conveyed everything to me.

When I remembered day before's my low mood   i thanked my stars that I married a mam's boy with inbuilt virtue of obedience otherwise a reckless free soul could have given me a good ride.

While I witnessed my daughter's inquisitiveness on daily basis,I learnt the lesson to clarify my position well in advance in any dealings. It helps me to build my position. Weighing my position in advance gave me ample time to  tilt it in  my side at anytime.

Thus these days, at work place whenever any colleague comes with suggestions for the job of the day, I instantly shot the key question-“Are you  suggesting me  or bossing me?” Few wisdom oriented soul opt to say,"Actually we come to learn, Then puffed with pride of bossism i answer them,“That is fine.”I am too confident these days, asking them —"Welcome to my umbrella of bossy--- ?

A melting pot of strategies

Simmering with its usual routines the place seemed a hot spot, an action oriented belly of Homo sapiens. Qualified as an outcome of stressed lives it was naturally viewed by most of us as a world of distress. Where one’s presence taken as a cruel joke of destiny and by the wisdom oriented soul as a mitigation of karmic accumulation. Oblivious of the down and dusk of the world outside ,it was revolving in the precision of emergency handling.

In this entrepreneurship era where dedication and honesty under the premier brand were promised to clients. Naturally the etiquette and politeness were used as strategic mantra to give edge to contender. But in that diverse community I found an inbuilt stratagem of action to rule out the worst. An earnest approach was there to work for the best with detachment. Everyone in that phenyl swabbed ambience seemed to approach the crisis strategically.

Under the effect of nauseating headache and dose of last night's medicine I was still reeling. The splitting headache my marathon raced brain accumulated last night while I was dealing with the ongoing crisis and procuring admission in the hospital. Eventually with the terrible aching I had hard time to keep the pace with the punctuality of the staffs over there. The paramedical who had rescued me last night from that tumultuous headache with an effective doze of medicine. He came in the morning with a ward boy to steer him to the ground floor for requisite tests. Out of concern he advised me to accompany them on the ground floor at my ease.

Half an hour later fighting unfamiliarity of numerous units of therapeutic world
I reached the destination.

In that centrally cooled corridor of pathological unit I sat on one of the recliners placed for patient’s kin. Braving the tides of hope and despair in that oriented space, I brooded over the ongoing crisis. Bereaved of options I decided to take on the suggestions prescribed by the specialists there.

My strained brain longed for fresh air as the chill of the closed place nauseated me further. But that was not possible I moved my attention to the people over there. The inbuilt urgency was palpable in all the proceedings over there.

However the hot spot had their own share of occasional gloom, yet I found it as a multitasking space of strategies. At one corner at a wheeled stretcher a semi comatose patient was striped in wire and with numerous tubes had been frantically making ruckus. Whereas some blessed with less troubles were silently waiting for their turns.

In the seat beside me an outdoor patient was there with his wife. With all requisite papers and files of med claim papers he was busily weighing down the pros and cons of the procedure.
The reception area and the waiting area at the ground floor were partitioned by the framed glass. Therefore the view of the entrance and reception was visible from the central corridor of the waiting area. Suddenly at the reception area a stirred movement of despair became visible and a fleet of surgeons and paramedical in their vibrated urgency made their way in to emergency unit.

To escape the heaviness of the sight I steered my attention to other corner. Through the canteen end, a blue uniformed canteen staff brisked holding a plate with a firm placed apple on it. Startled at the firm and non moving grip of apple at the plate, at first I blamed my splitting headache of last night. The mystery behind it got unfolded soon when he neared me. As it was packed hygienically by the cellophane paper and tapped at the plate, to ward off the floating germs of the air.

A feat of war foot strategy was visible everywhere- be it food and dealings involved with the patients.
Few elderly a must of those spaces were also occupying the space. A lady waiting for her pathological test slowly got up from her place to loosen the stiffness that was setting in her joints. She would walk to other end but a simple turn to move back after reaching the wall seemed a big effort to her. When she walked to me fearing her fall I bent my outstretched legs. She smiled at me and kept walking. A silent empathy created between us. With every walk she would halt at my place with a glow of smile on her sculpted elderly face.
“For knee transplantation I am here, waiting to go through some routine tests. My only daughter stays in States. She is married and a working lady. How will she get time for me? I too didn’t want to disturb her. Now I am already in the last stage of age where surgery works. After few years I will cross that age too. Earlier I refused as I would get frightened with the prospect of surgery. Now I decided to undertake it.” She pointed at her husband who was sitting on one of the recliner busy flipping some papers. She continued, “I am eight years younger than him. God knows who will be left alone after few years? I want to live on my own. This surgery will last for decade only, but at least that ten years I would be able to spend with dignity.”

I saw he was coming out of the unit in the hospital’s robes and banded wrist. He caught me talking congenially with someone and a bit relived with that last night terrible migraine attack. He sat in front of me against the wall throwing a smile. Soon he got busy on the calls instructing message to relieve the load of his work. When I switched my place and sat beside him, he simply threw another glancing smile of assurance and kept himself busy on calls. That time he was enquiring about his lost luggage at the Thai Air port.

I felt an action oriented strategy in the ambience and in every work over there and a strong resolve to fight the crisis to best of ability. What amazed me most that the poignancy of strategies was influencing the people present over there. That is why as a premier health provider it had been leading the race with dazzling height. I received an inbuilt strategic lesson and resolve to fight the problems over there.
